The best Margherita pizza I've ever had, of all places, in Bali! ... The food was some of the best I've enjoyed in Bali. The Pasta was cooked to perfection, slightest bite, aldente. The flavours were well balanced in my prawn and pipi pasta with butter sauce. Yummy!

Amazing upscale Mediterranean/Italian restaurant in the middle of Ubud downtown. I didn't have high expectations because of the area … but the quality and taste of food and the friendly service totally blew my mind. This must be one of my best dinner experience in Ubud.

We were just looking for a non-indonesian dinner as we had indonesian for lunch at the hotel earlier. Portofino is right opposite our hotel, so we decided to head in blind. It is no exaggeration when I say this is one of, if not the best Mediterranean restaurant I've been to!

We had an amazing time at Portofino. My partner and I agreed that it was the best food we had in Bali so far! We got the grilled skirt steak which was tender and juicy, the lamb ragu and the mushroom risotto which was bursting with flavour!! The service was great and the waiters and waitresses were all very friendly.

Being from NY and our high standard for Italian food, I was skeptical walking in … This place was a hidden gem and I would highly recommend if you want a break for the evening from the delicious traditional Balinese food. Solid Italian food spot. Check it out.

A fantastic experience and a very pleasant surprise in Ubud. Some of the best Italian food I have had including Italy. Well done.
